We are seeking a talented Software Test Engineer to join our innovative group to provide reliable solutions for test requirements. It is expected from this role to quickly learn and work on the test requirements. Required training will be provided in automation to carry out the automation tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out all the software quality testing lifecycle activities in day-to-day work.
- Learn and start on automation of test scenarios
- Possess the aptitude to quickly learn and contribute to our complex platform
- Work within an agile team
- Be an ambassador and guide of product quality in the team and evangelize quality standards and measures
- Collect quality metric data and communicate test status/risks to stakeholders
- Raise process improvement opportunities
- Actively participate in all ceremonies of the Agile process
Essential skills:
- Excellent knowledge of manual testing processes
- Having good knowledge of Test automation concepts
- Creation of Test Strategies, Implementing and following through to completion including both functional and non-functional aspects
- Strong Team Player
- Has a track record of achieving goals, meeting deadlines, and working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving requirements
- Can work both independently and within a team
- Demonstrates the ability to form and deliver specific recommendations based on test evidence
- Excellent communication and documentation skills who can summarize and relay all news to stakeholders
- Familiarity with Agile processes, specifically the Scrum framework and the role of Agile Testing within that framework is preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
